Flu Clinics and Surgery Map
Posted on 23 Sep 2020
As you may or may not know, flu's and flu clinics have changed this year. The only flu vaccines provided by the surgery will be for those aged between 18-64 with pre existing health conditions. Those who qualify in this age group will be recieving a letter from us this week, if you have not already.
Those aged over 65 will be vaccinated by the HSCP, who similarly will be contacting you by letter in regards to your vaccinations. They will provide you with a location/schedule etc.
We understand that this is different from the norm, but due to Covid-19, the Government deems this the safest way to get everyone their flu vaccine this year.
Due to the hardships added this year, the surgery will be testing "Drive Through" flu clinics as well as the regular ones, in an effort to minimise foot traffic in the practice. We ask that you consider this as an option to assist us in keeping everyone socially distanced, as they will allow you to be vaccinated without leaving your car. These clinics will be carried out in the rear car park of the surgery. A map of how to access this car park can be seen above this post.
The dates of our first flu clinics, drive through and regular, are as follows:
- Drive Through Flu Clinic – Saturday October 3rd, 10am Onwards.
If you are able to attend one of these clinics, please note that you still need to give us a call first on 0141 812 2022 to arrange an appointment time
If neither of these surgeries suit, please continue to check our website regularly to be notified of the next ones.
If at any point between now and your flu vaccination appointment you experience any symptoms of Covid-19, do not come for your appointment as you will be putting others at risk. Phone 111 or seek advice on the NHS Inform website immediately.

Stay safe and we hope to see you soon.
