Covid-19 vaccination for 80+ year olds in surgery.
Posted on 20 Oct 2022
As you may know, the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccines have begun and we want to keep you updated of where we stand currently at Bridgewater. We have not yet recieved the vaccine, we are due to recieve it next week. It will be the AstraZeneca vaccination.
It is only the over 80 year olds the surgery will be vaccinating for now.
We will be contacting you in reverse age order. The surgery will be phoning you shortly, if we cannot reach you a letter will follow. If you are housebound then the district nurses will contact you and come to your home to vaccinate you.
The vaccines will be given in a properly constructed, socially distanced clinic for your preace of mind. There is a chance after this that we may be asked to vaccinate other age groups, so please check here often for new information.
For now if you are 80+ or have a relative that is over the age of 80, please let them know we will reach out to them shortly.
